Most AAWGT events are open to all who are interested, and members are encouraged to bring friends and prospective members.

Exceptions are the meetings related to the business of the organization. These will be noted as “Members Only.”

In consideration of our members and guests, the AAWGT Annual Spring Open House has been postponed. Also, the April 25 Field Trip open only to members has been postponed. We will send out information on the event once we reschedule.

Each year, AAWGT holds:

  • 3 education meetings (February June and October; open to all)
  • An Annual  Women and Leadership Forum (March; open to all)
  • A Spring Open House for members and prospective members (April; open to all)
  • A Fall Grants Showcase featuring current grantees’ accomplishments and introduction of new grantees (September; open to all)
  • A Fall Field Trip to one of our grantees
  • An Annual Grant Voting Meeting where members select grant recipients for the upcoming year (May)
  • An Annual Business Meeting where members discuss a variety of topics and select new leadership for the upcoming year (November)
  • 4 Getting Together events where members meet to socialize and network
  • Plus, our Book Club meets 6 times a year, including a movie night
